Through schools, community programmes, and global forums, they honour traditional learning systems while creating new pathways for healing, leadership, and connection.

TOCATI Festival Verona 2025

Pink Poppy Flowers

Tocatì is a festival that combines games, watching folk music performances from far-off countries, sampling their food and rediscovering old traditional games. The name of this festival, Tocatì, translates as “it’s your turn” in the Veneto dialect. So now it’s your turn! -visitverona.it

Tākaro Māori in Italy

In this 23rd edition of Tocatì, Aotearoa, the land of the long white cloud, meets Italy of courtyards and squares: the Māori of New Zealand are the guests of honor at Tocatì 2025.
From September 19th to 21st, the squares of Veronetta will transform into a meeting space between distant worlds, connected by an invisible thread made of play, memory, and community. Dances, stories, songs, performing arts, and Ngā taonga tākaro, the traditional Māori games, will give voice to a living culture deeply connected to the land, time, and ancestors.

Tocatì will once again be an invitation to listen, participate, and share. Alongside the guests of honor, there will be Italian games and the many cultural activities that have always made Tocatì a highly anticipated and well-attended event.
A special edition celebrating play as a universal language and a bridge between cultures, generations, and territories.

Discover the full festival program on the dedicated page.
